
Old Snowdon Ranger Station is a beautifully restored single-storey listed stone cottage in Rhyd Ddu, sitting within Snowdonia National Park. Built in the 1870s as a ticket office and waiting room, this two-person bolthole is wood-panelled throughout and bright despite its compact size. Small but perfectly formed.
The location is exceptional. The Snowdon Ranger footpath starts right at the property walk straight out the door and onto the mountain. Llyn Cwellyn is nearby and the Welsh Highland Railway's Snowdon Ranger request stop sits adjacent to the cottage. Watch steam trains pass from your patio.
