Happy Place is a period cottage with contemporary twists in the heart of Aberdovey, a coastal village in North Wales. The beach is just 20 metres away. The harbour, shops, pubs and cafes are all within a few metres of the front door. The location is genuinely hard to beat.
Aberdovey sits on a tidal estuary with miles of sand-dune-backed golden beaches stretching along the coast. Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing are all available in the village. Yachting regattas run through summer. Snowdonia National Park is nearby for walkers and cyclists. There is also a championship golf course.
The cottage sleeps 4 across three bedrooms. A spacious king-size room with wingback chairs and Smart TV sits on the first floor.

Find your way to your perfect countryside retreat
To reach Happy Place by car, follow the A493 coastal road into Aberdovey village. The cottage is centrally located within the village, close to the harbour and beach. Please confirm parking arrangements directly with the property manager Courtney before arrival.
Aberdovey has its own railway station on the Cambrian Coast Line, making it one of the few Welsh coastal villages directly accessible by train. From the station it is a short walk into the village and to the cottage.
