Happy Place is a period cottage with contemporary twists in the heart of Aberdovey, a coastal village in North Wales. The beach is just 20 metres away. The harbour, shops, pubs and cafes are all within a few metres of the front door. The location is genuinely hard to beat.

Aberdovey sits on a tidal estuary with miles of sand-dune-backed golden beaches stretching along the coast. Sailing, windsurfing, canoeing and fishing are all available in the village. Yachting regattas run through summer. Snowdonia National Park is nearby for walkers and cyclists. There is also a championship golf course.

The cottage sleeps 4 across three bedrooms. A spacious king-size room with wingback chairs and Smart TV sits on the first floor. Above that are a double and a small double (4ft wide). There is a stylish shower room with WC and a separate WC on the first floor.

Nearby highlights include Snowdonia National Park (approx. 20 miles, 35 mins), Aberdovey Beach (20 metres), Aberdovey Harbour (a few metres) and Talyllyn Railway in Tywyn (6 miles, 12 mins).

No hot tub but with the beach this close, who needs one? Happy Place suits couples and groups of four who want a well-presented coastal base with everything on the doorstep.
