Gell Canol is a traditional stone cottage sitting just one mile from the coastal resort of Criccieth in Gwynedd, North Wales. Set within 9 acres of peaceful private grounds it's surrounded by countryside views and a wildlife path where you might spot hares, pheasants and badgers. The cottage features exposed brickwork, flagstone floors, timber beams and a double-height lounge with a wood burner set in a stone inglenook.

Criccieth's sandy beach is a mile away. Snowdonia National Park is five miles inland. Portmeirion is nine miles south. This is genuinely good walking and cycling country with fishing nearby too.

The cottage sleeps six across three bedrooms. There's a ground floor double with en-suite shower room plus two upstairs rooms a double and a twin both with skylights in beamed ceilings. Two bathrooms serve the property. The games room has a football table and dartboard with a covered seating area outside.

Criccieth Castle (13th century) is one mile away. Portmeirion is nine miles (15 minutes). Snowdon is 15 miles (25 minutes). Morfa Bychan beach is eight miles (12 minutes).
