Is The Tack Room Right For You?

Discover why this cottage is ideal for different types of visitors

For Families
The Tack Room suits families with older children who can enjoy the adjoining shared field for playing. The single-level layout means no stairs to worry about. Porth Neigwl beach is 2.5 miles away with 3 miles of sand for building castles and exploring. Water sports activities are available in Abersoch village just 2 miles away. The bunk bedroom with single over double provides flexible sleeping.
For Couples
This property works better for families than couples due to its layout and capacity for 4 guests. The peaceful farm setting and coastal views do provide a quiet retreat. Couples wanting privacy might prefer a smaller property designed specifically for two. The open-plan living space and two bedrooms make it less intimate than dedicated couple's accommodation in the area.
Pet Friendly
The Tack Room does not allow dogs or any pets. This is a strict no-pets policy that applies to all bookings. If you need to travel with your dog, you will need to find alternative accommodation in the Abersoch area that welcomes animals. The working farm setting means the owners have chosen to keep the property pet-free for all guests.

The Tack Room Reviews

Shelley
It was a lovely cottage. Very clean, well equipped and in a beautiful location. Beds were comfy and it was so peaceful. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and we will definitely be back x
Robert
Itâ??s a lovely modern accommodation, well equipped and clean. Position has views slightly from windows of the bay. , farmhouse takes most of the view. Very quiet, peaceful. Very narrow lanes to get to it. Not ideal for a 4x4. A small double bed, which is not ideal .
Juidth
This is a very comfortable, warm and super-clean cottage. Beautiful views over Snowdonia from some of the windows. The nearby beaches are lovely, but we hadn't realised quite how many caravan parks there were around Abersoch.
Steven
Shower absolutely superb though the layout did cause us a bit of head scratching, the shower and toilet being at opposite end of the cottage from the bedrooms. Again, not a holiday killer, just a little odd. Kitchen facilities excellent. Beds very comfortable. Rear patio very sheltered and very pleasant facing the setting sun even in October. Road access through the hamlet was unfortunately very restricted due to ongoing local building and services work. In fact a week later and the road would be closed completely... All in all it was very enjoyable.
Rebecca
The Tack Room is such a wonderful, well appointed cottage. We have been twice already and we are planning on coming back as soon as possible. Exceptionally clean and comfortable. Incredible location and very peaceful.
James
good accommodation in An area we like. be prepared for a steepish walk to and from the beach which is about 15mins away
Jeffrey
The Tack Room is a comfortable, clean base, but very elevated and a distance from Abersoch village. We needed two bedrooms and found the formation of the bunk bed room difficult. (OAPs)! Quiet location out of season, noisier at the weekends with the caravan site. Because of the late access, would suggest perhaps a pint of milk as youâ??re so far away from the shops. Think 9am departure is a big ask!
Natalie
Excellent clean, well equipped, comfortable cottage Beautiful views of Snowdonia and Abersoch Bay. We may come back!
