Excellent accommodation and we really appreciated the home made Welsh cakes and welcome basket. The inclusion of dog treats (and poo bags) was a nice touch for a dog-friendly booking.
Janet
Super place to stay, spotlessly clean and every thing you could wish for
Sheila
A very well equipped tastefully decorated property in a great location. Lovely welcome pack with delicious homemade Welsh cakes. Very friendly owners next door. Plenty of dog friendly beaches close by, many with free parking. The enclosed garden was ideal for the dog.
Sian
Superb accommodation with fixtures, fittings, and equipment of the highest order.
Tom
This is a lovely comfortable cottage with plenty of space and modern equipment. It is very handily located for anywhere on the Llyn peninsula, as well as Eryri National Park. The garden was a brilliant safe space for our dog, and it was also very helpful to have access to an EV charger.
Pauline
Wow, wow, wow... An amazing cottage, fantastic location, great place to come back and relax, the garden was very secure for our dog. All furniture and fittings were top class, will definitely book again and highly recommend. Christine was amazing.
Andrew
A beautiful, quiet and well thought out property. A very nice welcome pack on arrival. Very clean on arrival. Nothing at all to fault. Highly recommend. Having never been to this part of North Wales before it was a delight to be based so close to many towns and attractions. Thank you and we will return.
Helen
This cottage is beautiful, quiet location, quality fixtures & fittings, everything you could need for a relaxing holiday. Most importantly for us with 2 dogs, it was secure so meant we could relax knowing they were safe. Christine was really friendly, greeting us on our arrival & checking we were ok midweek. So many beautiful places to visit nearby, we would definitely stay again, thank you
Dave
Excellent best cottage we have ever stayed at ,
Carol
Our stay at Talafon was fabulous! The cottage was beautiful, well equipped with all you needed for the stay. The furnishings were all high end and very comfortable which added to the enjoyment of our stay. Particularly great was the direct access to a dog secure, sunny garden which our two dogs took full advantage of as the weather was amazing all week We would definitely recommend this cottage to anyone looking to explore this part of Wales.
Debbie
We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the cottage, only downside is we were only there for a few days! The cottage and garden were gorgeous, had everything you need for a break away with family, very spacious, clean and comfortable. We loved the welcome touches of treats for the dog as well as treats for the adults, especially the welsh cakes! The owners were near when we needed to ask a question and very helpful. I would love to visit this property again in there future.
James
We had a wonderful stay, the property and the location are both stunning. The attention to detail that the owners put into making our stay as comfortable as possible was incredible. The whole place had a feeling of calm and relaxation to it, loved it, didn't want to leave.
David
A wonderful modern cottage refurb with that homely touch. Didn't want for anything and the welcome pack was a lovely touch - the Welsh cakes didn't even last the first night. The enclosed and secure garden was great so even our small dog Bertie couldn't escape. A very pleasurable few days.
Sylvia
This has to be the best accommodation we have stayed in .. everything was spotlessly clean . Everything was supplied even towels , I honestly couldnâ??t think
Jane
We had a fabulous week at the cottage. It was immaculate when we arrived and is equipped to a really high standard. The cottage is in a rural location which is so peaceful but within easy drive of lots of beautiful dog friendly beaches and walks and our rescue dog Tom loved the enclosed garden. The facilities in Pwllheli are only 10 minutes drive from the property with lots of shops and amenities
Sarah
Beautiful house with everything you need for a quiet break in Wales. Very clean and extremely comfortable . Plenty of hot water to use after a long day walking . Great for dogs as easy access to the garden from the large kitchen . Owners live next door and will assist you with anything you need .
Francis
Talafon is first class. All the furniture, bedding, kitchen equipment etc. are all high quality. The location is superb with beautiful views. The owners, Christine and Gareth were very welcoming. This was one of the best cottages we have stayed in.
Peter
Immaculately presented, comfortable and spacious cottage with absolutely everything you might need. Friendly owners live next door but the cottage is very private and has a lovely secluded garden - perfect for our dog. The location is an ideal base for visiting this very scenic area - both Harlech and Criccieth castles are nearby, along with a choice of various quiet beaches. We ate out a number of times and were very pleased with the food and service received. Would recommend a visit.
Jo
If you are considering staying, do it. You will not be disappointed. Dark skies for star gazing. Beautiful cottage, well equipped. 5*, 10/10. I cannot say enough good things about it. The welcome hamper was such a lovely touch too
Tracey
One of the best cottages we have stayed in. Spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high standard so understandably dogs are not allowed upstairs. Fabulous hosts who are friendly and helpful without being obtrusive. Rural location surrounded by fields with a secluded suntrap garden. What's not to love? 100% recommend.
Jennifer
Great place to stay, fantastic views and really well set up for our visit. Clean, with everything you need. Hosts fantastic with valuable local knowledge.
Rachel
We have loved staying in the cottage. Excellent with very high quality and standard. The week went too fast. What a beautiful place to stay in North Wales
Liz
Beautiful cottage in an excellent location to explore North Wales. A real home from home with many thoughtful touches. Owners are lovely and very helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and will be returning.
Jill
Absolutely beautiful cottage, high end furnishings, fabulous kitchen, crockery & equipment, bathrooms spotless, bedrooms lovely. Secure and tranquil garden. We had a wonderful week and would definitely return !
Liz
Expect the warmest of welcomes from the friendly hosts, Christine and Gareth at Talafon. This beautiful cottage is perfectly located to explore the Llyn Peninsula and all the lovely beaches and coastal walks . The cottage is immaculately clean , tastefully decorated and has high end furniture and furnishings. The kitchen has everything you could ever need to prepare meals. The beds are probably the comfiest we have ever slept in! The outside space is equally impressive with a large, well maintained, dog friendly , private garden with plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the peace and quiet . I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone and look forward to booking again soon .
Christine
Cottage was amazing, so so comfortable. Gorgeous beds didn't encourage you to get up at all. Safe garden for dogs, even a cocker spaniel! Just one thing I thought should have been mentioned. There is building work going on next door which at times was very noisy. As the weather was bad we couldn't escape it. Realise it's a business but when you desperately need peace and quiet and spent a large sum of money on a property it's disappointing. That apart though the cottage is a credit to the owners. Would definitely recommend once work has finished next door.
Heidi
Beautiful cottage, location, equipped with everything you need and more the hosts had thought of everything, warm and welcoming wonderful hosts ..did not want to leave when the holiday ended
Ali
Talafon was the best holiday home we have stayed in . We would highly recommend anyone to stay here. The quality of the furniture and all fittings including the outdoor furniture is a very high standard, the bed was most comfortable. We had our own private garden and the dogs were extremely secure with fencing all the way around the property. Itâ??s a very central location , we ventured out most days enjoying the miles of many different beaches , in some cases the only ones exercising our dogs. We had some very enjoyable breakfasts in several locations close to the house. Itâ??s very rural and the peace and quiet was just perfect, Christine and Gareth are very knowledgeable about the area and gave us lots of advice on were to visit. We will definitely be back again and recommend your home to friends and family , thank you for sharing your lovely holiday home .
