Drws Y Coed Reviews

Steph
Loved this place. Though being right on the A5, at times it could be noisy, but wouldnt stop us booking again . Everything was perfect. Thank you.
Elizabeth
An absolutely stunning property in an amazing location. The house is fabulous and decorated and kept to a very high standard. Being so close to the river was a lovely experience and the whole area is fabulous, with lots to explore.
Rebecca
Absolutely stunning cottage fitted out with all the home comforts and more! The cottage is beautifully decorated throughout and supplied with everything you might need. The big selection of board games were a bit hit with us all. The location was ideal for visiting local attractions and we enjoyed some lovely walksâ?¦. we took a stroll over the bridge from the cottage and the children loved exploring in the woodland there. Our favourite part thoughâ?¦. sitting on the decking area with a warm drink over the riverâ?¦. just stunning.
Gareth
Fantastic house with everything needed included; amazing location beside the river, easy access to the national park. Had a lovely time and planning to return.
Jeremy
Wonderful beautifully presented accommodation in a stunning location. The balcony over the falls was spectacular to see after heavy rainfall when we arrived. Fortunately, we had amazingly sunny weather for the rest of the week. The cottage is ideally positioned to visit the Snowdonia area. Highly recommend this first class cottage.
Angelique
Without a doubt the most beautiful house we have stayed in. The view from the balcony of the Cobden falls were stunning . The cottage contained everything you could possible need and the interior was simply beautiful. The app provided by the owners came loaded with every bit of info you could possibly need and the Welcome basket was a lovely touch. For anyone considering staying here we would highly recommend
Sara
We had a lovely holiday at Drws Y Coed. The location was stunning with lots of places to visit nearby and the cottage very welcoming and comfortable. We had a mix of weather so were lucky to see the change in the river when some rain arrived - quite spectacular!
Claire
Beautiful accommodation. We have never stayed anywhere of such a high standard. Every comfort you could ask for. We loved it. The balcony over the river was amazing. We got to sit out and enjoy the river every evening with a glass of wine. Lots of walks to do in the area. The walk up Moel Siabod was challenging but worthwhile with views of Snowdon from the top. We also did lower level walks along to Swallow Falls and up and around Capel Curig. Betws-y-Coed not far away for a look around and the beautiful Gwydir Forest nearby including Conwy Falls and Fairy Glen. Highly recommended!
Elizabeth
This is an amazing home in an amazing location. The view from the deck alone makes this property an excellent place to stay, and, on top of that, the home is comfortable, well-furnished, and homelike. My family would love to stay here again.
Tim
Superb accommodation at a stunning riverside location.
Veerle
Chique woning met veel licht en ruimte. Alle comfort aanwezig, heel proper. Ideale ligging. om Snowdon regio te verkennen. Spar niet te ver af. Terras hangt boven de rivier. Geeft rustgevende werking. Dit hebben we vooral gemerkt toen we het huis verlieten.
Madalaine
We had a perfect weekend away, the cottage was absolutely stunning and brilliantly located, we have already booked to come back next year and we cant wait!
Peter
What an absolutely outstanding holiday cottage. We didnâ??t want to leaveâ?¦â?¦ The location on the river is amazing and the standard of the property is the best weâ??ve stayed in. The whole week was glorious sunshine so we made the most of the balcony. It is surrounded by breathtaking scenery just a short drive towards Bangor and plenty of places to visit, we enjoyed a day at Harlech beach and Zip world. The best coffee and food was Betws-Y-Coed a short drive, especially the Welsh Tapas restaurant Olif and The Alpine Coffee shop. The two parking spaces were great and the welcome goodies were really appreciated. 5* luxury cottage so well equipped and we would be delighted to stay again soon.
Laura
This cottage is simply the most beautiful stays iâ??ve ever had in my life. Other than the fact the location and originality of the cottage is unreal, the interior is just as nice. The owner was on hand with messages if needed the whole weekend. Canâ??t recommend this cottage enough! Canâ??t wait to come back x
Julia
A great place in a great spot - we had fantastic weather which meant we could take advantage of the outdoor space, already missing the sound of the river and the views, easy to get out and explore from the back door as well as great access to all that snowdonia offers - we will return, just a matter of when
Angela
Wonderful property and location. One of the best, if not the best, cottage we have stayed in. Lovely and comfy, warm and spotlessly clean. We brought our Australian family to see my homeland of North Wales and it did not disappoint. They were very impressed with the scenery and the house! Wish we could have stayed longer. Thank you!
Michael
You canâ??t help but be bewitched by Drws Y Coed, by both the river and the cottage, theyâ??re both amazing. The location of the cottage, perched â??overâ?? the River is incredible and set just a few minutesâ?? drive from Snowden in one direction or Betws-y-Coed in the other, what more could you ask for? Just Fabulous. And not to be trumped by the great location, the Cottage itself is Beautiful. Warm and cozy (we came in January â??25), itâ??s spotlessly clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need for a relaxing and wonderful stay. Itâ??s elegantly decorated throughout (the photos donâ??t do it justice), and it has real a contemporary homely feel to it. We will return next winter.
Vicky
What a fabulous place to stay, five-star throughout, including the location. Accommodation five-star plus, location a dream overlooking the water. Fixtures and fittings inside and outside the property are fabulous; comfy beds, beautiful lounge to relax in on an evening, kitchen a cook's dream. Great communication from the caretakers. I 100% recommend this holiday property; we did not want to leave and I will most definitely be returning. Thank you for allowing us the use of this five-star accommodation. Vicky & Ben

Gail
What a beautiful cottage. Outside space was breathtaking even on a rainy weekend, also under cover in some parts. Whole place was spotless, and finished to a high standard.
Nicola
We loved the house. It was spotlessly clean, had everything you could possibly need and beautifully presented. The deck is somewhere you could loose yourself for a few hours just listening and watching the water. We will return
Charlotte

Izaskun
This is one of the best places we have stayed. The whole house is beautifully done and very comfortable. And the view from the back is stunning.
Lindsey
The location of this property is stunning. The view of the river from the deck is wonderful. It is situated on a fairly main road but noise wasn't really an issue once inside. Inside, it is tastefully decorated and feels luxurious. The kitchen is very well equipped (so pleased to see plenty of mugs and cutlery!) and the lounge comfortable and cosy. The beds were comfortable with lovely soft throws and the whole place was spotless. Our family also loved the collection of games and puzzles provided. The welcome pack was much appreciated. There is a pub serving great food just a couple of minutes walk away and there are lovely walks if you cross the bridge to the other side of the river. We would absolutely stay here again.
