Apartment 4 The Old Stables Reviews

Mike
A lovely apartment, very well equipped with stunning views. Communication with the owner was first rate and we particularly appreciated being informed that we could check in early as there had been no guests immediately prior to us
Sally
The apartment was lovely, with outstanding views over the estuary. We visited in Nov, the apartment was very clean, warm and well equipped. We had a lot of rain but this did not spoil our time there and we managed to get out and about despite the weather.
Christopher
The property totally exceeded expectations. Cosy warm and the view of the estuary from the panoramic window in the lounge was wonderful. It was worth sitting there watching the ebb and flow of the tide and changing landscape. A bird watchers (Twitcher) paradise. Very secure parking. In my opinion a car is needed to explore the area.
Alice
Fabulous well equipped apartment with large terrace overlooking the estuary. Exceptionally clean with comfortable beds and 2 great shower rooms.
John
Very well equipped and comfortable apartment with superb views
Judith
Beautiful apartment with a view to die for. The apartment was well equipped with everything you need, with extras like coffee, tea, toilet rolls and dishwasher tablets supplied. The local area is beautiful with some wonderful beaches and quaint villages/towns, mostly dog friendly which was great as the weather wasnâ??t the best. We would highly recommend staying here.
Tracey
Amazing apartment they have thought of everything that you need whilst away, and the view were spectacular we will definitely be back.
Patricia
Couldn't have been better
Owen
A great apartment just outside Aberdyfi, within easy reach of beaches, mountains, towns, and restaurants. The view is spectacular, the accommodation superb, and the host communicates very well, is very welcoming, and has included some much appreciated ideas - (county parking pass, restaurant and walk recommendations). Will definitely look to return.
Michael
Thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Loved the view across the estuary. The apartment is very comfortable and well equipped. You step into a large pleasant apartment full of light, then walk to the picture window and look out over the estuary. The place was nice and clean, and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable and my wife had her best sleep in years. The parking pass is a lovely touch and we used it most days. Definitely a great place to visit.
Peter
Lovely apartment in a quiet location with spectacular views. Good position for exploring the general area with sandy beaches at Towyn and Aberdovey. Nearby there are places of interest such as Talyllyn steam railway, Corris mine and the Dyfi Osprey Project in the summer.
Dawn
Lovely location well equipped great for a peaceful break
James
5 star property a perfect holiday destination we would highly recommend this apartment,
Jeremy
If you want a fabulous hideaway retreat then this is the place. Superbly set within the beautiful woodland, overlooking the breathtaking ever changing estuary. You could spend hours looking out of the view window or watching out from the decking taking in the rays. A short journey into Aberdyfi, still unspoilt and very pretty. Beautiful beach, some lovely little shops and food places. A fantastic place to stay and we will be back for sure.
Matthew
This is a stunning apartment. The view from inside and the balcony is ever changing and wonderful. The decor and cleanliness are excellent. Great walking form the front door. We will be back.
Lee
Fantastic modern style apartment with wonderful views of the estuary, The positioning of the apartment makes you feel like youâ??re in the tree tops and share a space with the local wildlife. The apartment is well kitted out with all the amenities you would need for break from home and the beds are comfortable and perfect for a great restful and relaxing stay. Will definitely consider coming back here again next year.
Susan
The cottage was so lovely - light and spacious. The views from the lounge windows and the patio are just stunning. It is really comfortable and well equipped, even down to the binoculars to watch the birds on the estuary. One thing to note is the steps leading up to the apartment - they are metal with a wide grid and our collie-whippet cross (having thin legs and small feet), couldn't get up or down them and had to be carried every time. The apartment is well placed to explore the area with good road access to Aberdyfi, Tywyn, Machynlleth and beyond. There's a wealth of amazing restaurants and pubs selling really good food within a few miles. The owner is a mine of informtion about the area and is extremely helpful. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you.
Catherine
We really enjoyed our stay at the apartment over Christmas. It was exactly as described and the views from the picture window and balcony were simply stunning. We also loved the underfloor heating which meant it was very easy to heat to the right temperature to taste in different areas. The owners went above and beyond in sharing helpful information before our stay. Would stay again and also happily recommend to others.
Steve
Fantastic, modern, spotless, well equipped warm and comfortable. Couldnâ??t recommend it more.
Rosey
Great apartment with amazing views. The pictures don't do it justice.
Helen
Excellent accommodation. Very well equipped. A very relaxing stay
Paul
Inside this property is beautifully finished to a high standard and has everything you could need provided The view is the highlight and is stunning! Extremely comfortable huge bed and lovely sofas in lounge BUT although dogs are welcome we didnâ??t find it very accessible for dogs due to the steep metal open staircase up to the property entrance
Linda
The apartment was lovely and had good views over the estuary. The walks were not suitable for us at all.
P
Being keen bird watchers this was an ideal location to see Osprey fishing and a number of waders and woodland birds, the apartment was amazing, clean and fresh.
Alison
A perfect location for a relaxing holiday, with superb views. An extremely comfortable, well equipped apartment with a feature window that delivers even when the weather doesn't.
Beth
The flat was nice & the window in the living room had a lovely view.
Steve
The apartment is by far the best self catering accommodation we have stayed in. It was immaculately clean upon arrival and is modern and well equipped with everything we needed all of which was of top quality. But of course best of all is its location. A stunning view from the lounge and decking area, the binoculars and telescope provided were a nice touch and used daily. The peace and quiet made for a perfect break. Aberfydi is approximately 3 miles away and we made good use of the free parking permit provided. There are a number of places to eat and drink opposite the lovely sandy beach. Two stations nearby with good links up and down the West coast. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to family and friends.
Mark
Fantastic accommodation with stunning views. Very peaceful and well equipped apartment made for a perfect weeks break. Would highly recommend.
Amanda
Fabulous apartment. Clean and faultless. Thoroughly recommend.
David
This property is in a beautiful, private location with amazing views. The apartment is immaculate and well equipped for any length of stay. We highly recommend staying and we will definitely be returning. Thank you to the owners .
Kerry
Stunning, quiet location with views to die for! Lovely throughout, with everything you could need and more. The Veranda could do with a little tlc but apart from that we couldn't fault it and will definitely be returning.
Christine
Clean quality linen and cutlery Comfortable sofas (though a little low for my liking, as Iâ??m elderly ) Fabulous view.
Beatrice
Fabulous property and views. Plenty of thoughtful details too. We would love to return.
Anita
This contemporary property is clean, light & airy. The views from the picture window in the lounge diner are truly superb. The apartment also has a large patio area which would be fabulous in the warmer months, to sit out on, enjoying the views of the Dyfi estuary. An added advantage is the secure parking. In the property is a car parking pass for Gwynedd long stay car parks which was a real bonus!
