It was a lovely and spacious apartment :)

What a great location! We stayed in Apartment 2 for a week in North Wales, and it was pristine and well equipped when we arrived. During our stay, the weather was typically â??Welsh,â? so we spent quite a bit of time indoors â?? yet despite the apartmentâ??s compact size, we never felt cramped. Betws-y-Coed is about a 20â??25 minute walk along a country track, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and coffee spots once you get there. The apartment is also a perfect base for exploring the wider area â?? everywhere we wanted to visit was within easy reach! Unfortunately, the wet weather meant we couldnâ??t make the most of the beautiful, well-kept garden, which would be fantastic in the summer. Walking up to Llyn Elsi is highly recommended â?? itâ??s absolutely stunning and right on the doorstep! We hope to return the next time we visit the area!

We had a very comfortable stay in Apt 2, Fairy Glen. The bed was particularly comfortable. We like to self cater and were able to do so in the well fitted kitchen. The owners were very responsive to queries and clearly wanted us to enjoy our stay. The apartment is in a very picturesque setting, most the time the road is relatively quiet but twice a day it is busy and provides some entertainment as large vehicles meet and refuse to back up! Thoroughly recommend it as a base to visit North Wales.

We enjoyed our stay in Apartment 2 at Fairy Glen. The location was good for exploring north Wales and Snowdonia. The apartment was comfortable and quiet. Although the nearest pub is not far, we didn't feel like walking (up) the sometimes busy road as for most of the way there is no pavement. There was a good choice of nice places to eat in Betws-y-Coed so we didn't use the apartment facilities much but would have appreciated a tea pot.

We had a lovely 3 night stay at Tylwyth Teg Dau, itâ??s a beautiful spot with an amazing view of the river. The apartment was spotless, warm and comfortable. There were lots of excellent walks nearby and the welcome folder had lots of suggestions of things to do/places to see. It was just a short drive or 30 min walk along a beautiful country lane to Betws y coed, so easy access to shops, pubs and restaurants too.
