Manaros Reviews

Darren
Manaros is a great base for a holiday, close to the centre of Betws-y-Coed. Secure car parking is near by. The property is very comfortable and well equipped. Unfortunately the freezer is in the cellar which is accessed from outside, probably not an issue in summer, but in winter this can be frustrating since you're likely to want access to the freezer in the early evening in the dark and with no light above the rear outside door, it makes going down the stairs hazardous, this is a made worse in bad weather..
Tim
lovely cottage and enclosed garden, spotlessly clean through out , private parking and very close to walks, shops and restaurants perfect for us and our dog
Julie
The location of this cottage is simply perfect! There are so many beautiful walks right from the front door with a selection of brilliant pubs/shops/cafes less than a 5 minute walk away. The cottage was so fresh and clean and the board games were a welcome addition. The beds were a bit too soft for us; but this is one of those things that so subjective itâ??s impossible to please everyone! The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. We pushed the bins up against the gate to make it a little more secure; but if you have small dog or an escape artist they would probably be able to get through the gaps in the gate. One thing to note is that the â??outside utility roomâ? is more of a cellar containing the washing machine, dryer and freezer. Brilliant to have these extra utilities; but worth being aware of if youâ??re afraid of spiders etc. Regardless though; we had a wonderful stay and cannot wait to return!

A perfect cottage for a week near Snowden. Weâ??ll thought-out amenities, everything you need for simple living in the mountains. Beautiful backyard, nice to have a washer/dryer after hiking! Easy walk to the trails by the river and the shops/restaurants in Betws-y-Coed.

Teresa
Lovely little cottage with all we needed for a relaxing few days. Travelled with one dog so the garden was a bonus. Ideal location for all amenities, shops, restaurants and bars and all within a 5 minute stroll. Situated by a river with stunning views and lovely woodland walks, Swallow Falls was spectacular especially in the Autumn!
Olly
Fantastic location, nice spacious cottage.
Debra
Was in the town so easy access to restaurants and pubs. Just what we needed.
Julieanne
Cottage was wonderful, the owner should be very proud. We will definitely be coming back next year.
Meredith
Manaros is a very comfortable cottage in a fabulous location for all the amenities of Betws-y-coed. We found it to be an excellent base for exploring Snowdonia, and there are many opportunities to participate in activities that do not even require driving further afield. While it operated on a limited time table, the journeys from the local station were a great way to enjoy a picturesque train ride. We would highly recommend Manaros as a great place for a holiday.
Sophie
A comfortable cottage right in the heart of Betws y Coed. The parking space a real bonus. Great shower. Comfortable bed. The location and scenery is just stunning with lovely woodland river walks from the door. Would definitely stay again.
Ian
Lovely little cottage in a beautiful Snowdonian village. Was clean and fresh (not tired like at least one review suggests). A bit of everything supplied (toilet paper, soap, dishwasher tabs etc). Owner was quickly contactable when toaster tripped the electrics. Beds couldve been a little firmer. Parking is ok when you know where it is (just a few doors down on the right heading out of village). All in all very happy with our stay.
Julie
Lovely little cottage in a great location, we felt little Tlc maybe is needed with some decorating as it was looking a little tired. We loved our cottage and would come back again if it was taken care of. Agency comment - the property has now been redecorated
Colin
Very well located cottage, would definitely book this cottage in the future.
Denise
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Manaros as we find it ideal for walking into the village and local walks. Lovely comfortable cottage, had an issue with the Freesat box but immediately the owner ordered an updated new one and the lovely caretaker & husband came the day after and installed it, big thank you!
