Bodilan Fach is a 500-year-old detached farmhouse sitting on a traditional family farm in the secluded hamlet of Llanfihangel Y Pennant, within Eryri/Snowdonia National Park. Set in the foothills of Cadair Idris, this 16th-century property has been sympathetically restored, keeping its timber beams, exposed stonework and stone inglenook fireplace.
The surrounding countryside is exceptional. Footpaths and bike routes start right from the door. A river runs through the owner's land offering free trout fishing and the nearby stream can be heard from the front patio. Wildlife watching is easy here. Tywyn's beach is 9. 5 miles away.

The farmhouse sleeps eight across four bedrooms. Downstairs there's a double bedroom overlooking the front patio. Upstairs are two further doubles and a twin. Two bathrooms serve the property: a ground-floor shower room and an upstairs bathroom with shower over bath. Two wood burners warm the lounge and dining area.
Castell y Bere ruins are within 4.5 miles (10 mins). Dolgoch Falls is also within 4.5 miles. Talyllyn Railway at Tywyn is 9.5 miles (20 mins). King Arthur's Labyrinth near Corris is within 13 miles (25 mins).
Families and groups of up to eight will love Bodilan Fach. Two dogs welcome. Table tennis on site. Parking for four cars. This is a genuinely special farmhouse in a hard-to-beat location.
