Beudy Llew Coch Reviews

Brian
We had a very comfortable stay in Beudy cottage. The standard of the facility is very high and it is just short walk to the beautiful lakeside of Bala. We have stayed in many cottages and this ranks highly for comfort and quality. We highly recommend it
Brendan
We went to Bala hoping for a relaxing break, and our stay at Beudy Llew Coch absolutely hit the spot. It is a lovely, calm, comfortable space which is furnished and kitted out to a very high standard. The sofa was huge and very comfortable, the double bed was very comfortable (and the area very quiet) with great blackout blinds, and the shower is especially luxurious - we didnâ??t want to get out. The welcome gifts included milk, Welsh cakes - and freshly cut flowers. Bala - lake and town - is a stone throw away, thereâ??s shops and plenty of places to eat. Happy to recommend, feel sure we will be back
Mark
Beautiful well thought out cottage.
Colin
Great accommodation and location, a great place to stay and explore the area
Charlotte
Very comfortable and perfectly situated cottage. The village has everything you need (food shops, bars, butchers, bakers etc.) and is a great base from which to explore and walk lots. We stayed for two weeks and were very happy here and if were ever visiting Bala again would 100% rebook.
James
Having stayed in these cottages before, as always spotlessly clean and well equipped. Great location for all local shops and amenities.

The cottage was beautiful and had everything you need. Perfectly clean on arrival. Situated a few minutes walk from the lake. Lots of lovely walks locally and convenient for a drive to the coast. Hosts lovely and very helpful. Would definitely recommend. We hope to stay again
Cheryl
A great location with so much nearby. Easy to find. Directions were ace. The cottage was stunning inside and out. Such a lot of thought has gone into the building and interior. Everything we needed was in the kitchen and bathroom. I do not usually leave reviews but felt compelled to write this one. We will be planning a return trip.
Beka
My boyfriend and I had a wonderful weekend staying at your property, it was just perfect for what we needed and in a beautiful location with some amazing views! Thank you so much for an amazing stay
Simon
Fabulous cottage, very cosy! Well located for visiting the area. We were there for a relaxing break so didn't do a great deal. In one day we went to Llyn Trawsfynydd (lake), Port Meirion and Barmouth; all stunning. Another day we visited the Pistyll Rhaeadr waterfall and hiked to the top for beautiful views, and then went to the Llyn Vyrnwy dam. In Bala, we ate at the Cyfnod bistro and the Plas yn Dre restaurant. The latter was more expensive but worth it.
Dave
Absolutely fabulous cottage, perfect for two, and owners were lovely. Top spec and everything you could possibly need. Bala is a great village with everything on your doorstep within walking distance. Cottage is in perfect location for the lake and river walks with beautiful scenery. Have been before and will definitely be returning.
Hannah

Beverley
Lovely home from home. With everything we needed. Loved the shower!! Very high spec & luxurious. Location was excellent
Hazel
Absolutely loved the Y Beudy barn conversion, it was set among a few others and situated within the town. Good quality/standard throughout, felt very cosy for two people and would definitely visit again. Very short walk to the Bala Lake/Llyn Tegid which was stunning especially in the lovely weather we had for October. Walked from Bala to the Llanuwchllyn Station and travelled on the steam train back to Bala. Most enjoyable stay.
Val
The cottage was amazing, everything we needed. The cottage was spotless.Great location. We would definitely come back and recommend this property. Thank you to the owners.
Alexander
Great cottage in a great location! We couldnâ??t ask for anything more.

This warm and cosy cottage was lovely to come back to after a days walking in the hills around Bala. The cottage is very comfortable with good parking and plenty of places for eating out nearby. Recommended.

Susan
An extremely well presented cottage . The owners have made every effort with the decor fixtures and fittings to give their guests a very comfortable stay.. A warm and friendly welcome from them ensuring we were happy with everything on offer.
Dave
We were very impressed with our first sight of the cottage(s) and we weren't disappointed with what was inside, as well. It was very clean, comfortable and had everything that we could possibly need and more! Located next to Llyn Tegid, where there's lots of water sport activities to try it's also close to Snowdonia National Park and within easy travelling distance for a lot of other tourist locations in N Wales. We enjoyed our stay here very much and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
Isabella
A really beautiful cottage with a very cosy and homely feel. Stocked really well with utensils and in a lovely location!
Alison
Lovely warm and welcoming little cottage, everyone is super friendly and welcoming. We had a great stay and are already talking about returning later in the year.
Andrew
A beautiful barn conversion ideally situated near the lake with all amenities nearby. Underfloor heating kept us cosy in February and was also very peaceful and quiet. Book with confidence.
Linda
That was a last minute decision. We spent our Christmas in this pretty cottage. The cottage is well-equiped. Very clearn. We got everything we needed. We cooked out Christmas dinner. The owner is very kind. They put up the Christmas decorations and provided seasons hamper. Feeling warmly welcomed. The bathroom is spacious. The shower is so powerful. Lucky us! The location is so easy to everywhere. 5-minute walk to the late, 5-minute walk to the hills, and a couple of minutes to shops, coffee shops and pubs. We had a few walks and drove around the lake and to places. The rural road to Dolgellau is so beautiful. So many walking routes. We will come back when the weather is good.
