Sublime location but unfortunately the property is now being hired out with significant basic maintenance and cleanliness issues. The owner has been informed of these issues, but it remains to be seen if the necessary remedial actions will be taken to bring the Boathouse back to justifying its 5* pricing. Such a shame.

We enjoyed our stay at 1 The Boathouse. The views are beautiful especially the sunrise. It was very clean. Being able to access the beach straight from the property was great. The negative for us was the parking, the information when booking says parking for 2 cars but this is very misleading. One car parks outside the property, the 2nd car can only park further up a steep hill and is not near the property at all. Both our car parties had walking difficulties so it was a huge inconvenience. The property is very nice but we felt for the price it costs to stay there certain things are not up to standard. The twin bedroom is really only suitable as a children's bedroom. All that being said we had a lovely holiday and the outlook from the property is amazing. The welcome pack was really nice touch.
