Cor Llew Coch Reviews

Anthony
Fantastic property in an amazing location. Easy access to village, lake and surrounding walks
Cenk
I wouldnâ??t really call this a cottage. More like a luxury apartment. It is an attached property on both sides and hence you can hear most things said and done next door. Including noisy arrivals at 5am and early departures at 6. Parking was meant to be on flat area in front of property, this is incorrect as we were told to move our car to the car park at the back. Internet speeds very poor, if you need this for your trip , take it into account. Cottage / Apartment itself was well fitted , clean and spacious. Location was walking distance to everything in the village of Bala. 1 hour to Mount Snowdon and 90 mins to Liverpool shopping. So pretty good. If my first few points donâ??t bother you then itâ??s a good stay. Def detached real cottage for us next time with character.
Debra
We realised that this property was convenient for Bala High Street - we wrongly assumed that the farm was down a driveway or lane - but not at the end of the high street on the A494. Parking was at the back on gravel, and if other residents had parked inconsiderately (as they were on our arrival) or there were multiple cars for any properties, then parking is tight. We found the downstairs to be dark and therefore the lights needed to be kept on at all times.
Roy
Very comfortable and excellently equipped, clean accommodation. Generous hosts provided everyday essentials.
Kevin
Lovely cottage immaculate wi fi was a problem
June
We stayed in Y Cor (a one bedroomed cottage) for a week. The cottage is beautifully appointed, spotlessly clean and contains all the equipment, utensils etc that you are likely to need for your stay. The owners, Gareth and Monan, are very friendly and are on hand should you need anything at all. This is probably just about the best holiday accommodation that we have ever stayed in and it would certainly be our first choice if we holiday in the area again. We shall be recommending it to our family and friends.
Phil
Extremely clean and well kept property. Lovely hosts; always willing to ensure that you're having a nice stay. Super location. Everything necessary provided for a cosy, comfy holiday.
Ian
What a beautiful cottage, equipped with everything you need, even milk in the fridge. Very clean and a very high standard accommodation in my opinion. The owners are very friendly. We will be staying again.
Robert
This property was perfect. Great location, excellent hosts and very well cared for.
Alastair
Lovely property
Daniel
Wow what a lovely property, this was our 2nd time at the property, we couldn't complain about anything.
Gareth
The best holiday cottage we had the pleasure of staying in.Beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will be booking again.
Samantha
A lovely modern cosy cottage, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Nothing was too much trouble from the owners. We had a fabulous stay. The lake (with water sports) is only 10 mins walk one way and the village is right next door in the other direction. Scenery is lovely. Great if you like walking. Everything else is a drive away but there is white water rafting close by and zip line not too far. We drove to Barmouth about 45 mins away.
Anita
We honestly can't praise this perfect little holiday cottage enough. It was spotlessly clean, with a fresh modern decor. There were lovely welcoming touches-like some fresh flowers, Welsh cakes (which honestly lasted about 5 minutes after our 5 and a half hour drive) and a packet of waffles. We met Manon and her parents in law, who were all so friendly and sweet. They have a great knowledge of the area too. The cottage has everything we needed-a well equipped kitchen (with a dishwasher and washing machine, cleaning products and tea, coffee and a pint of milk), a comfortable living area and bedroom and a modern bathroom. The shower was really good too. Parking outside is ample and you can see your vehicle from the property. The cottage is well placed. Literally less than 5 minutes walk to Bala town centre and within easy reach of lots of attractions. We would definitely recommend this cottage and hope to return one day.
Ann
Excellent accomodation - the quality of finish and facilities provided were exceptional. Manon and Gareth were very gracious and welcoming hosts, as was the extended family.
Peter
Iâ??m a person who is up at the crack of dawn, looking to do this that and the other. Iâ??ve never felt so relaxed on any holiday before. Just perfect.
Julie
Lovely, cosy cottage with all you need for a perfect stay. Convenient off road parking next to cottage.
Gemma
We had an amazing time and loved the cottage. The owners we friendly and very welcoming and approachable. Will go back again
Philip
Spotlessly clean modern cottage. Made for a very comfortable stay. All communications ahead of the stay were clear and helpful. Would highly recommend.
Eric
The cottage is conveniently located just five minutes from Bala lake in one direction and five minutes from the centre of the High street in the other. It is well equipped, comfortable and has lots of character. Car parking is immediately outside the cottage.
Clive
High standard complex more than most people would expect.
