The location was perfect with fabulous views and plenty of wildlife. ideal if you are looking for a peaceful holiday. We had a wonderful week at this charming cottage. It had everything we needed, and the setting was peaceful and picturesque â?? tucked away off the main road with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The location is ideal, just a short 8-minute drive to Bala, making it a great base for exploring the area. Ann, the owner, gave us such a warm welcome and had even left thoughtful treats for us â?? wine, biscuits, bara brith, and milk in the fridge. It was such a kind touch and really made us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The cottage was spotless, well-equipped, and incredibly quiet â?? perfect for a relaxing break. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to friends and family, and weâ??re already looking forward to coming back in the future.

This was one of the nicest and definitely warmest cottages we've stayed in. The view from the bedroom window was spectacular. The owner was a lovely bubbly person who made sure we had everything we needed. The welcome pack of wine, Welsh biscuits and Bara Brith was a very nice gesture.
Nigel
Absolutely superb. We had a warm welcome from the owner when we arrived at the cottage. The cottage was lovely with a homely feel as soon as we walked in. It was well kept, clean and perfect for just the two of us. The location was exactly what we were looking for within easy reach of the areas we wished to visit. It was nice to sit in the private garden in the evening with a glass of wine. The welcome package left for us by the owner was a nice touch. We will definitely be returning for another stay.
Martin
This cottage is so beautiful, so clean and very welcoming. It is comfy and very homely. Owner is lovely and welcoming too. There are lots of places in the surrounding area to explore. We are definitely booking again.
Valerie
We enjoyed our stay very much and the cottage is a good size for two people (and a dog). It is well equipped, extremely clean and an interesting design, having a mezzanine bedroom and en suite bathroom. There is a lawned garden at the rear with good views over the valley and as the farmer was hay cutting we were lucky enough to see several red kite. The cottage is situated high above the A494 which can be a bit noisy at peak times, although you cannot hear it inside the cottage. The owner is very nice and helpful.
Julia
This little cottage is amazing and has everything you need to make you comfortable and is very well presented. Ann the host is lovely and we had welcome gift of wine and cake and biscuits which was a lovely touch. The garden is well fenced and perfect for your dog to roam free. Access to the garden is through a side gate but we used the window like a serving hatch to prevent having to keep going around. All in all a lovely stay and wish we could have stayed longer.
Emma
Just perfect! We loved our stay at the cottage, it had everything we needed including a well equipped kitchen. The cottage was clean and tidy and the bed very comfortable. Good WiFi. The view from the garden was stunning

Charles
Me and my partner loved our stay for 3 nights the cottage was very clean and cosy. The owner was super friendly and already had the heating on ready for our arrival. A bottle of wine and some cake was left for us which I must say went down a treat and was a nice little touch. The views from outside the property are absolutely stunning, we will be returning here in the summer time
Mick
The cottage is ideal for one or two people. Parking is available outside the front door for one car, but there is space 20m or so away for more cars. The rooms are a good size and the bathroom excellent. I had a dog with me and it's not obvious but to access the enclosed garden requires walking out the front door and around the side so care should be taken as it is a working farm. It is an ideal location for exploring the Clywidian Hills and Snowdonia with Betwys y Coed, Bala and Llangollen not too far distant. The owner was very friendly and helpful and left wine and cake for our arrival which was a nice touch. I would definitely stay there again.
Sophie
Absolutely beautiful cottage with amazing views of the countryside. The owner is lovely who made sure we had everything we needed and made sure we knew we could contact her if we had any issues. A wonderful stay.
Roger

We had a fantastic week in May 2024. Lovely cottage, fantastic host and plenty of places to see nearby. Thank you Mrs Y Jones
Fiona
Loved this little cottage near Bala. Just 2 rental cottages on the plot and 2 other tenanted properties across and up from the semi cottages. It was quiet, beautiful little garden (entrance through gate at side of the cottage) with magnificent views. You do need to drive to get anywhere as main road just off the farm is fast moving and has no pavements. Owner manual was useful to find little places worth a visit and owner could not be more kind or accommodating.
Martin
Very comfortable and cosy cottage. Well equipped, with everything required. Very clean. A lovely welcome pack on arrival. The owner was very friendly and explained what was required on arrival. I enjoyed a very relaxing stay and enjoyed the stunning surroundings.
Karen
Very welcoming host. Perfect location to see everything North Wales has to offer. Beautiful scenery from the garden. Extremely comfortable bed, exceptionally clean throughout. Really well equipped. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing stay. 11/10

The cottage was lovely for us for the week! It had everything we needed plus a bonus in the extraordinary view!
Kerry
We had a lovely week. The cottage is well equipped and very clean. The garden was secure for our dog to play in and location was central to everything we wanted to do. the host was very accommodating and very welcoming. The town of Bala is a 10 minute drive away and has all the essentials, co-op, pharmacy, butchers, restaurants and pubs. For a very reasonably priced pint, The Goat is the pub to be. Friendly staff and good service - even the locals love a chat! We had very nice weather all week, but even if you don't there is plenty to see and do. Very nice part of Wales - we will be back.
Paul
Amazing location and a lovely cottage will defo be back
Kajus
The cottage was perfect, simple as that. Had everything you need for a short or long stay. The owner was more than welcoming and even let us feed the lambs at her farm. Was a very special time we had and i couldnt recommend the place more!
