Bryn Ystrad Llyn Reviews

Joanne
The cottage is to a very high standard. The views were wonderful. I couldnâ??t find any faults.
Deborah
It was a lovely house with all that we needed. The owner was very helpful, particularly with hiring additional disability aids.
Mirjam
We had a perfect time in North Wales. The house was big, the view excellent and we had enough to do in de surroundings. All in all we would highly recommend this cottage.
Peter
We have now had two visits to this excellent house in a beautiful location. Perfect for visitors requiring accessible accommodation. One of the best in the UK.
Melvin
This property is beautiful and is highly recommended.
David
We selected this property in part for its great location from which to go exploring but also because we were able to hire specialist mobility equipment (hoist, profiling bed and commode via the owner). The equipment was very reasonably priced and made our holiday much easier to manage. The property had everything we could have needed in terms of utensils and appliances. The choice of two outdoor seating areas was a bonus. It really did feel like a home from home. The welcome pack was beyond anything we've ever received before and featured a range of delicious Welsh treats.
Tracey
We would recommend this house . The house downstairs very good for a wheelchair user, especially the downstairs bedroom with wet room plenty of room for wheelchair . The house was very clean and loved the wonderful hamper . Lots of store cupboard items which was useful i.e clingfilm, oil, sugar etc .
Louise
What an amazing cottage. Such a lovely location, beautiful scenery and a perfect homely feel. Large open spaces and nicely decorated. Plenty of equipment for all needs and extremely comfortable beds. Communication and information was efficient. On arrival, we had a fabulous hamper set up for us which was a really nice touch. Overall, would 100% recommend this cottage.
Sarah
We had a wonderful stay here - such a well equppied, spacious and comfortable house, in an amazing location! We so enjoyed the endless views. We stayed here as a family of 7 and found we had plenty of space. The big kitchen table was perfect for eating together and there was lots of space throughout the house. The best welcome hamper ever too!! Would highly recommend.
Natalie
We had a perfect stay in a beautiful property. It was super clean and had everything we need. The views are amazing!! We will be back! Thanks for a brilliant stay!
Alan
Excellent location and property. Owner very helpful. Very generous welcome box.
Annie
Gorgeous location with everything you need for a relaxing break. Not too far from shopping and tourist attractions plus plenty of walks too.
Susan
5 of us stayed at this house including my disabled sister and elderly mum. The facilities for my sister were superb. Wheelchair access around the house was spacious. The wetroom had plenty of space and worked very well for us. The views are amazing. Some lovely walks from the house. Very clean and comfortable all through. Exceptional welcome pack was a lovely surprise. Lovely owner of property who checked in with us to ensure everything was ok. Would definitely stay again.
Stuart
Exceptionally clean and well-appointed - even separate hairdryers in each bedroom and an iron/ironing board which was especially useful for us. Location is excellent for visiting North Wales (e.g. Anglesey typically 40 mins). We expected poor Wi-Fi due to its remote location but were pleasantly surprised to get 35Mb download speed, sufficient for 4 smart phones and 2 laptops at the same time. But there is no mobile signal unless you walk up the hill. Tesco's in Porthmadog is the closest supermarket (10 mins) with cheapest fuel (no kiosk - card at pump only). Although we took our own board games, there were plenty available and a WII, and a very useful pair of binoculars for identifying the birds. Excellent welcome pack including coffee, butter, teabags, jam, milk, Welsh cakes, shortbread, white chocolate and yoghurts.
Sharon
What a super cottage, very well equipped. The disabled bedroom and ensuite was ideal for my 90 year old father. The welcome pack was superb. There was a good supply of firewood for the log burner, which we lit to feel cosy, although the house itself was also warm enough. The owner was very pleasant when she came to introduce herself. You do need a car as it is on a country lane, but we knew that when we booked it! The phone signal wasn't that good which made me worry in case there was an emergency with my dad, but the property has a landline for emergency calls which was very reassuring and put my mind at rest. Thank you for a lovely break. We would recommend this property to anyone and would happily return.
Muhammad
Had a lovely time, cottage location is awesome
Neil
A beautiful finished & appointed house that is spacious (even with 8 guests) in a wonderfully quiet location. The hosts go out of their way to make you feel welcome with lots of small touches that makes your stay even more pleasurable. You will need a car but i would recommend to anyone looking for a very comfortable house in a stunning location with easy access to North & Central Wales & Snowdonia.
